EB-5 Visa

The Employment Based Immigration Fifth Preference, also known as EB-5, has been in effect since 1990. Foreign entrepreneurs and their immediate families are eligible to become permanent residents of the US if they make an investment of $500,000 to $1,000,000 to start a business or in a commercial enterprise in the US.

There are two different ways to invest through the EB5 visa program, the Basic Program and the Regional Center Pilot Program

EB5 Direct Investment Visa : Minimum investment of $500,000 to $1,000,000 into a new or existing commercial enterprise in the United States.

EB5 Regional Center Visa: An EB-5 regional center is an economic unit, public or private, in the United States that is involved with promoting economic growth. Regional centers are designated by USCIS for participation in the Immigrant Investor Program.
